SELLERS MARKET REMAINS STRONG
According to data compiled by the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM), April’s real estate statistics show that we are down to 1 month of inventory, compared to 4 months this time last year. There are 65% fewer homes on the market, which shows just how much of the available inventory has been snapped up in recent weeks and months. Average sales prices were up 28 percent year on year. We are excited to see the latest designs unveiled for the Bath & Racquet Club redevelopment. I think this is going to be of interest to full time residents and investors alike, and it’s definitely a project to keep an eye on. The proposed development comprises 207 residences, a new fitness center, 12+ tennis courts, a one-acre park with a playground and dog park, pickle ball courts, restaurant, recreational trails, and better yet, the site allows for major tree preservation throughout the 13 acre site.
